About The Alliance
The Church Safety Alliance was formed in the Naperville area in 2021. It is an Ad Hoc organization of like-minded Christians dedicated to the safety and security of those who worship, learn, work, volunteer, and visit the church. The Alliance currently has 21 member churches. The Alliance welcomes for Membership any church that professes the general Christian creeds (Nicene, Apostles and Athanasian). Other generally recognized church organizations (i.e. Muslim, Mormon, Jewish, Hindu, other) are welcome to request and share church safety information, advise, and training opportunities.

The alliance was formed with the basic goal of supporting each other by sharing information, training opportunities, resources, and SOPs. By working together, the basic goals are fulfilled in the following ways:
-
Maintaining a comprehensive web site (now under construction)
-
Periodic news / information emails to keep everyone informed
-
Special information emails as needed
-
Maintaining a Urgent or Emergency text group
-
An annual no cost Church Safety Conference featuring local and alliance member expertise
-
Occasional meetings of alliance members for fellowship, special topic discussion and sharing of ideas
-
Organizing group participation in outside training opportunities
-
Providing no cost Mutual Support Services
-
Maintaining a Helpful Information File
The alliance does not require any form of dues or specific commitments. Only the desire to provide safety and security for your congregation is necessary.
